When the lines between infrastructure and application code get increasingly blurred in your Serverless environment, for many DevOps teams, the path of least resistance is to lean into infrastructure as code tools such as the AWS Cloud Development Kit and build increasingly converged codebases. While the CDK dramatically simplifies the release and deployment process, the flipside of this can be the added complexity to the automation used to build application code for Lambda functions and S3 buckets before Infrastructure as Code takes over.

In this 1 hour workshop, Elvin will be digging deep into how CDK bundling works, and taking you along for the journey as we learn a new way to build your code while deploying your infrastructure. Bundling provides a mechanism to have repeatable builds of your entire serverless infrastructure from not just your CI/CD setup of choice, but from your local machine too.
